Production Associate

Job Duties

  • Use computer programs accurately to estimate costs, maintain customer files, manage inventory, etc. including expertly operating the company’s proprietary software.
  • Manage documents including scanning paper records into SharePoint, etc.
  • Liaise with suppliers to procure, receive and process all products to maintain a consistent inventory.
  • Prepare flowers and containers.
  • Create eye catching production photos and post to company website and software programs.
  • Conduct retail duties such as opening/closing, cash control, housekeeping, merchandise displays, etc.
  • Provide a memorable shopping experience by attending to customer needs instore, online, over the phone, and email in a professional and respectful manner.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma / GED Equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Adobe.
  • Retail and customer service experience required.

Working Conditions

  • Part Time Employment up to 30 hours per week.
  • Must possess the ability to work weekends, all floral. holidays and occasional overtime as directed by business needs.
  • Indoor, controlled temperature environment.
  • Variety of scents and odours, some heavy at times.

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Keyboarding skills.
  • Extended periods of standing.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional bending, climbing, squatting, walking.
  • Interaction with staff and the public at large, sometimes in stressful situation.
